Pastor Dedrick Messenger is the Pastor of God’s House of Promise, a ministry that emphasizes being dedicated to God and building God's Kingdom one family at a time. His life is dedicated to living by example and encouraging men and women to live up to their full potential in Christ. Dr. Messenger has more than 25 years of teaching and counseling experience, which enable him to reach others with humor, warmth, transparency and strength. He is a husband, father, teacher, educator, conference speaker, role model and mentor.

As Dr. Messenger is a visionary, motivator, and teacher for the Lord; he has devoted his life to serving God. He often quotes Luke 14:26: If any man come to Christ he must first deny himself…” Dr. Messenger is the son of Apostle Glen and Helen Messenger. He is a native Tennessean who grew up in the Bolivar, Tennessee community. He attended local area public schools and is a graduate of Bolivar Central High School. He we on to pursue a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin, a masters and doctoral degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. Pastor Messenger has been happily married for 25 years to his sweetheart, Jennifer Messenger. They are the proud parents of three children; Dalton, Dajah, and Dallas.

Although Dr. Messenger is a visionary, motivator, and teacher for the Lord, he has devoted his life to Christ: he wants us all to know: As we approach the return of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it is very important for the entire church to be holy. For this is what Christ is coming back for and will not accept anything less. He often quotes Luke 14:26: If any man come to Christ he must first deny himself…” Pastor Messenger is a truly a man after God’s own heart and has a heart for the people.
